Why are mobile home parks such a desirable investment?
Self storage was hot but now seems overbuilt. Airbnb was all the rage but has seen a serious decline in the last year or two.
Residential real estate has cooled with rents and home prices flattening.
Yet Mobile Home Parks continue to sell for higher and higher prices.
Why is that?
Well, we truly do have an affordability housing crisis in the US. The average home price in the US is $400k, in many places $500k.That's is out of reach for many first time home buyers and many families that are downsizing. Why Manufactured Housing? You can buy a nice 1000 sg ft 2BR 2BA manufactured home fir $100k and pay $500-$600 lot rent. Those numbers work! And people are noticing!
