Hello, My name is Sean Sheets. l am running for the GCCC Board of Trustees. I attended college in Tulsa, Ok. I was born and raised in Texline, Tx. l have lived in Finney Co since 02'. l have 5 successful children 1- Washburn Grad, 1-SCCC, 1-K-State Grad w/Masters, 1-GCCC, and my son is still attending GCCC pursuing Comp programming degree. I am still serving on USD 363 School Board, and the GCCC Athletic Dept. Board. I served on the Economic Development Board, YMCA, and was a Layminster at my church. Has l watched my last child graduate from high school today l thought l would be an emotional wreck, it will hit me soon. These last 2 weeks has opened my eyes to a lot of things. First, l am getting old, and 2nd my hair seems to be getting thinner on top. But on a serious note l have watched a bunch of kids turn into young ladies and young men overnight. These kids should still be playing T-Ball, not going off to college. To all of the moms and dads they will still need you, and will still ask those silly confusing questions... how much soap mom, hey dad righty tighty, lefty loosee...or hey dad, how do you like this dress... or Hey, what is a W2, PAY TAXES!!
You are not done raising them and so so slowly, you are getting smarter. They are understanding why you said... and what you said.... and are taking it to heart. Congratulations to all of 2022 seniors l wish you all the very best!
