Happy September! 🍂

It’s crazy that we’re already 8 days into the month and that the official end of summer is almost here.

God willing, September will be a good month for a few of my clients and I’m also looking forward to some personal fun and spending time with friends.

I try to maintain a healthy balance between work, family, friendships and just enjoying life. It’s not always easy, but I try!

Did you know Labor Day began in the late 1800s to recognize American workers and the labor movement. The fight was for a eight hour work day and safer working conditions among other things. HOWEVER, the holiday’s original history did not focus on enslaved African Americans, whose forced labor had contributed greatly to the U.S. economy for generations.

Not much has changed this year in the Baldwin, Freeport, and Long Island real estate market. 🏡

We’re still experiencing a shortage of available homes coupled with strong buyer demand. While there have been some subtle shifts in the market, in my opinion, they’re simply not significant enough to call this anything close to a buyer’s market.

For sellers, limited inventory continues to work in your favor. For buyers, having the right strategy, preparation, and guidance remains extremely important.
