Yesterday, I went to an orientation for the Birmingham Association of Realtors and received this pin.
It may look like some little thing to wear around while your working - but, this pin is not just a pin.
REALTOR® isn’t just a title. It’s a responsibility I carry into every conversation, showing, negotiation, and decision. It means choosing honesty over shortcuts, clarity over pressure, and my clients’ best interests over everything else.
Being a REALTOR® holds me to a higher ethical standard, but more than that, it shapes how I show up daily. It means answering the tough questions, explaining the fine print, and protecting my clients even when the easier option would be to stay quiet. It’s advocating fiercely in negotiations, staying educated in a constantly changing market, and treating every transaction as if it were my own.
In real life, REALTOR® means being dependable when emotions are high, steady when things feel uncertain, and transparent when decisions matter most. Buying or selling a home isn’t just a transaction. It’s personal, and the guidance you receive should be, too.
This pin is a reminder of the trust my clients place in me and the level of care, accountability, and integrity I’m committed to bringing to every step of the process. I’m proud to wear it and even more proud to serve the people behind each set of keys.
