Today was a good day for some exploratory drilling on an upcoming job. The purpose of the drilling is to test soils at depths of 50’ for us today. This is being done so we can safely temporarily shore up the house next to us during the excavation and part of house build. For the first 10’ an 18” sample will be taken every 2’6” to see how dense the by native ground is. After the first 10’ it will be checked every 5’ As they got closer to our max depth the hammering of the sample bit took a lot longer Meaning the ground was definitely getting harder Very cool to watch and learn.

We are almost hung out at the Vandecoevering job. Finishing touches and getting scrapped out today. Mudders move in tomorrow. In the 3 shower and tub areas the Sheetrock was left off in order to start the waterproofing process for full height stone shower panels that will also be used as wainscoting around the rest of the bathing area. Going to look great!!

Managing four major projects hitting the same phase at once is a heavy lift, but the JLT crew and our subs are rising to the challenge. At the Camp Magruder Lodge, we've successfully navigated a change in plans and are officially closing in on the siding phase.

The team is currently knocking out the closed soffits so we can wrap up the exterior trim. Roofing is almost complete, big thanks to Angels Roofing & big thanks to the crew for the extra hustle!

Major progress at the Stillwell project this week. We're officially weather-tight and moving on to the next phase.
