What's up with the name change? And why does our page look different?

If you've been following us for a while, you may have noticed a few changes around here. New name, new look, new logo. So, what's going on?

After more than 50 years of our family's real estate legacy with MRA Realtors, Lisa and I decided it was time for our next chapter.

We've joined SERHANT., the most followed real estate brand in the world, and MRA Realtors has evolved into Alvarez Signature Group | SERHANT.

Why the change? Simple. We wanted to take everything we've built over the years and combine it with the marketing, technology, and reach of a brokerage that's doing some pretty exciting things in real estate.

We're still Robert and Lisa. Same experience, same commitment to our clients, and the same belief that real estate is about relationships, not just transactions. Now we have even more tools and resources to put to work for you.

And what about MRA Realtors?

We're not walking away from our roots! Our property management business continues as MRA Property Management, while our residential and commercial sales are now handled through Alvarez Signature Group | SERHANT.

As for this page, you'll see a new look and some fresh content, but we'll still be sharing real estate advice, market updates, new listings, and a little of what goes on in our lives along the way.

MRA isn’t going away. It’s evolving.

For more than 50 years, MRA Realtors has been part of our family and part of the Dallas real estate community. That history still means a lot to us, but as our business has grown, it made sense for each side of the company to have a clearer focus.

Our real estate sales business is now Alvarez Signature Group | SERHANT., giving our clients access to elevated marketing, technology, national exposure, and a powerful global network, while still working directly with Lisa and me.

At the same time, MRA continues as MRA Property Management, serving the landlords, investors, and residents who have trusted us for decades, while continuing to grow that side of the business.

Apparently AI found our old nightlife photos. 😂

A little 80s flashback, big hair, bold fashion, neon lights, and a night out that looks suspiciously believable.

The funny part is, Robert actually DID have the hair. And anyone who knew us back then knows the nightclub scene isn’t much of a stretch either.

Some things change. Some things don’t. We still clean up pretty well and we still know how to have a good time.

Which decade should we do next, the 60s, 70s, or 90s?
