🚗😵‍💫 Confession time…

Everyone is different, but I’ve learned something about myself over the last few months…

I would rather spend all day house shopping than car shopping! 😂

We’ve been car shopping for MONTHS now. Today we searched for over 4 hours, and months and hours later… we still don’t have a car. 🤦‍♀️

And bless my poor husband… he’s had to survive months of my indecisiveness. 😅 One day I’m convinced I want an Acura MDX. The next day I’m team Highlander. Then I’m back to Acura. Then back to Highlander. Matt deserves a medal at this point. 🏅😂

The funny thing is, the things that stress me out about car shopping are the same things that stress a lot of people out about buying a home:
❌ Too many choices
❌ Feeling pressured
❌ Not knowing if you’re making the right decision
❌ Fear of overpaying
❌ Information overload

That’s exactly why I work so hard to make the home-buying process different.

Summer break means my favorite tiny assistant is officially back in the office with me again 💙☀️

Today she spent her time coloring, doing school work, and quietly soaking in conversations while surrounded by some truly powerful women. She may not grow up to work in real estate… but she IS growing up seeing women lead, build businesses, create opportunities, and leave legacies behind. ✨

Meanwhile, today’s topic was new construction and learning what matters most to builders 🏡🔨

I don’t take these moments for granted. One day she may not remember every meeting, but I hope she always remembers what it looked like to watch strong women work hard, support each other, and dream big.

I toured everything from builder-grade basics to “okayyyy this is fancy” yesterday 😂 and it’s always interesting hearing what people think homes SHOULD cost vs what they ACTUALLY cost in today’s market.

Memorial Day Monday = 7 showings across the Triangle for out-of-state buyers 🇺🇸🏡✨

While many are spending today by the pool or relaxing with family, I’m over here mapping routes, researching neighborhoods, printing listings, and helping families find “the one” in North Carolina ❤️

Real estate doesn’t always stop for holidays… but neither does my gratitude for the people who trust me during such a huge life transition.

One thing I’ve learned in real estate is that if you don’t intentionally protect family time, this industry will gladly consume every hour of your week. 🏡✨

While many people will be enjoying the holiday off on Monday, my schedule is already packed with at least 5 showings… and more are still coming in. 😅📲 But today? Today I’m choosing to slow down for a minute and pour into my husband the way he constantly pours into our family. 💙

So today is all about pampering him a little with a foot soak, scrub, massage, and hot stones treatment because honestly… he deserves it. 👏🏼

Busy day behind the scenes today 🏡✨

Spent part of the day chatting with another out-of-state buyer client getting ready to tour homes this weekend! We talked about their reason for moving, must-haves in a home, things they definitely DON’T want, and narrowing down the best fit for their lifestyle. ✈️🏠

Between follow-ups, getting buyer agency documents prepped, scheduling, active clients, and preparing for weekend showings… it’s been a full day, but I’m thankful for every bit of it. 💙

🏡 CLOSED & onto a beautiful new chapter ✨

One of my recent closings was especially meaningful to me. My client was looking to downsize from a 3,000+ sqft home into something simpler, low maintenance, and closer to shopping, food, and everyday conveniences.

We toured 4 properties in one day, and when we arrived at The District in Flowers Plantation…he instantly fell in love. 🌿🏘️

✔️ Lawn care & exterior maintenance included

By working closely with the builder’s lender, he secured a great interest rate AND over $22,000 in seller concessions 💰👏 We stayed on track and closed in less than 30 days.
