NAR SETTLEMENT
We have received questions regarding this. This is what we know so far.
■ court approval is still needed. This could take months.
■ all REALTORS are covered in the settlement, however not all Brokerages are.
■ changes go into effect mid July 2024, unless directed differently by the courts
■ Buyers will be required to enter into a Buyer Representation Agreements with a buyers agent
■ offers of buyer agent compensation is prohibited on the MLS.
■ since the 90's buyer agent compensation has been and will continue to be negotiable. It will not be advertised for all members of MLS to see.

We will continue to update in the coming weeks and months, as we learn more about how this will effect business on a local level.
MB Realty along with other Brokerages in the area have transparent contracts that cover compensation for both the buyer and sellers agents. We will continue with that transparency moving forward.
