🌠 Meet the founders/owners of Garyland Property Group, father and son duo Sherman & Christopher Harris natives of Gary, Indiana with shared family roots supplanted in Gary since 1918 🏭

Both Sherman and Christopher are Gary Theodore Roosevelt High School Alumnae of graduating classes 1979 & 2007 respectively. Sherman is a natural visionary and finished carpentry craftsman 🛠. Christopher earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Construction Management from the University of Northern Iowa in 2012 🎓 has earned and maintained accrediation as a LEED Green Associate with the USGBC - United States Green Building Council since 2014. 🏡

💡The idea of Garyland Property Group was birthed in 2019 by the Harris's with the intent to provide quality housing while connecting those new residents to local resources, history & culture. 💡

✴ FACTOID: The name 'Garyland' pays homage to The Gary Land Company, a subsidiary company of US Steel which was responsible for the building the City of Gary's first official residential subdivisions 🏭🏠.
In the Early 20th Century, Garyland was proudly used a pseudonym for Northwest Indiana.
