If you're vacationing in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, or Gatlinburg and you're looking for a GOOD steak, you've got plenty of choices.
We looked at thousands of online reviews and ratings, combined them with the places we believe deserve to be near the top, and came up with our Top 10 Places to Get a Steak in the Smokies. Online rankings vary considerably, so consider this the It's Your Smoky Mountains Top 10 rather than a scientific ranking.

10. Holston's Kitchen — Sevierville
A place that sometimes gets overlooked by visitors. It's casual, family-friendly, and has steaks alongside Southern comfort food and seafood. A solid choice when you want a good dinner without the fine-dining atmosphere.
9. Gaucho Urbano - Brazilian Steakhouse - Pigeon Forge — Pigeon Forge
This one's completely different. It's a Brazilian steakhouse where different meats are brought directly to your table. If your idea of a good evening is MEAT... followed by more meat, put this one on your list. 😂🥩
8. Bullfish Grill — Pigeon Forge
With more than 4,000 reviews and a strong rating, Bullfish deserves a spot. It's especially good for groups where somebody wants steak and somebody else wants seafood.
7. The Chop House — Sevierville
A dependable steak-and-seafood choice near the Tanger Outlets area. Online reviews consistently put The Chop House among Sevierville's better steakhouse options.
6. Texas Roadhouse — Pigeon Forge
Yes, it's a chain—but we're not leaving a restaurant off the list just because it's a chain. This location has earned strong reviews, the steaks are generally dependable, portions are generous, and prices can be reasonable compared with some of the area's higher-end restaurants.
5. Cherokee Grill and Steakhouse — Gatlinburg
Now we're getting serious. 🥩 Cherokee Grill has more than 5,000 reviews and is one of Gatlinburg's best-known steakhouse choices. Great atmosphere, excellent location and a little more upscale without feeling overly formal.
4. The Park Grill — Gatlinburg
There's something about eating a steak in that massive mountain-lodge atmosphere near the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Park Grill has become part of the Gatlinburg experience for a lot of families.

If you're looking for a special-occasion steak dinner, this is hard to beat. The Greenbrier brings together premium steaks, cocktails and a secluded historic mountain setting. It's definitely on the higher end, but the entire experience is part of what earns it our #3 spot.

An absolute Gatlinburg classic. The Peddler is known for custom-cut steaks, its huge salad bar and that beautiful location beside the Little Pigeon River. For many families, eating here has become a Smoky Mountain vacation tradition.
