We have had a terrible incident where there was an attempted abduction of a child at one of our properties. Thanks to quick actions by other tenants, the suspect was apprehended and is in jail. This was not a random person coming on property, there is nothing to be afraid of. All of our properties have video surveillance for the safety of our tenants. We are cooperating with the sheriff’s department in order to get them anything they need, including video footage. Please always be aware of your surroundings and keep your doors/ cars locked. Northern Michigan is not immune from these types of incidents. I always welcome messages if you think something is not right. Better safe than sorry. It truly does take a village.
