🌸🌙☁️ Sweet dreams, little one…

This is my new favorite room in the house. Every time I walk past it I stand in the doorway and dream of holding, changing, and rocking our baby girl here. And the sweetest part: the crib, sheets, and glider are all mine from my nursery when I was a baby! (Thank you mom for saving them in such perfect condition all these years!) I cannot wait to lay my baby girl down on the same sheets, in the same crib that I slept in, after rocking her in the same chair that my mama rocked me in. Sweet, sweet blessings. 🤍

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there’s nothing like the joy of working with first-time home buyers! 🎉 Kamil and Kristy purchased their first home in a charming neighborhood, with lots of space for hosting, and an amazing yard with a gorgeous paver patio (complete with built-in fire pit!🔥). It is so fun to walk through this process with clients for the first time, and get to share in their joy and excitement, too. Congrats you two!

As promised, sharing a few highlights from my insta-break recently!

Jim and Cheri bought their small-town dream home complete with a sprawling backyard and, most importantly, minutes away from their sweet grandchildren. These two are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and truly are clients turned into dear friends. It was a joy to represent them in both the purchase of their new home and sale of their previous home (which sold in 48 hours and with multiple offers, thanks to this crazy market!).

I am truly thankful for the joy of walking with so many wonderful people through this very exciting time in life…and so blessed by my clients in the process! 🤍

Sharing some exciting news today! 🥰

Baby girl Preyss will be joining us in November! ☺️💗🎀

It’s been a year of beautiful change…starting a real estate business, buying a house, moving out of the city and back to the suburbs I grew up in, and now expecting our first baby. 💗 It is humbling and overwhelming how God has graciously sustained and provided. Matt and I are so, so thankful, and so very excited for this sweet blessing. 🎀

A favorite Geneva spot ❤️ Fiora’s has one of the best patios during the summertime…if you’ve ever been walking down Third Street on a weekend night, you’ve probably heard the live music coming from their patio! They have a delicious, new American style menu and a great wine list. Pair the food and music with some black and white umbrellas and twinkling lights, and what more could you ask for on a summer night? 🍷✨

One year ago, I passed my real estate exam!

Actually, one year and two days, but it’s been a busy week. 😅

One year ago, I nervously climbed into the car as my saint of a mother drove me 2+ hours to Davenport, Iowa, which was the closest available testing site at the time, thanks to Covid. We chatted, listened to our favorite music, and I glanced through my flash cards one last time. I was ready (or so I hoped!).

I had my calculator, ID, and registration docs all ready to go, making small talk with the girl next to me as we waited to for our names to be called. What seemed like an eternity later, I emerged from the testing center, paper in hand, with the four-letter word I was praying to see across the top of my results: PASS.

We celebrated with Chick-fil-a (of course!), and Iater with tacos and margaritas with the guys. I was thrilled, thankful, and so ready for this new chapter.

One year later I can safely say this has been one of the wildest, most unexpected and most graciously wonderful years of my life. Praise God for his kindness, and for each of you who have been a source of encouragement and support along the way! I’m overwhelmingly thankful! I cannot wait to see what year two brings. 😊
