Congrats to Joan Watson-Protano and Greg on the sale of their house. They poured a lot of love into this house over the years and kept it looking super cute (I still remember when they decided to go with a red steel roof.....what a fantastic choice). Because of all of their care and love, we ended up with multiple offers and sold for 8% over asking price.

Now they head south to new adventures, pretty sunsets and long walks on the beach ;-).

Today, I'm celebrating 20 years as a Realtor. All 20 of them with the same office.

My clients are AMAZING! I'm so fortunate that I'm at the point in my career where 95% of my transactions come from repeat clients or personal referrals. This allows me to really focus more on my clients needs than looking for my next meal. I'm fortunate to have and to have had awesome team members (thank you Christina and in the past Mike, my dad, David and of course Debi). Being able to say "I have someone for that" when it comes to attorneys, lenders, inspectors, etc. also makes things a lot easier for myself and my clients.

I recently joked that the only thing in real estate that hasn't changed in the last 20 years is my business photo...maybe I'll even change that this year.

Those that know me, know I am fascinated by numbers. So....of the 743 transaction sides:

- 67 communities with the top being;
*Sycamore at 183
*DeKalb at 128
*Elgin at 47
*Genoa and St. Charles ties with 36
*Geneva at 30
*Batavia at 29

- Top two counties were:
* DeKalb with 385 (note, there still isn't a BW office here, and the year I started, the whole company did 23 transaction sides in DeKalb County)
* Kane with 261
