Not yet a half year into Airbnb, The Homestead at Flint Creek Lake is already an Airbnb "Guest Favorite"!

🌿 Exciting things are happening at The Homestead on Flint Creek Lake! 🌿

First and foremost, THANK YOU to all of our wonderful guests who have supported us during our first months. Your visits, feedback, reviews, and encouragement have helped make this dream possible. We are incredibly grateful and excited for what's ahead!

We're constantly looking for ways to enhance the property and create memorable experiences for future guests. Some of our upcoming projects include:

✨ State-of-the-art Waterdrop G2 Reverse Osmosis drinking water system and TYENT UCE-13 Plus water ionizer
🌳 Hanging bed swing beneath the beautiful lakeside oak tree
🔥 New fire pit overlooking the sunset peninsula
🌻 Flower cutting garden
🎃 Fall pumpkin and squash patch
🎣 Fishing gear for guest use
🚣 Kayaks and additional lake amenities
⛺ Glamping tent sites for a unique outdoor experience

And that's just the beginning! Our long-term vision is to continue transforming The Homestead into a regenerative farm and lakeside retreat where families can reconnect with nature, make memories, and experience the beauty of Northwest Arkansas.

Arkansas's Siloam Springs Kayak Park is one of our one of our family's favorite nearby adventures! We took the kids yesterday and they were still wanting to stay after three hours!

With multiple water rapid drops suited for paddle boards, tubing, kayaks, or your favorite floating unicorn, this park is a blast for adults and kids of all ages. It also features changing stations, restrooms, soaking pool and lots of shoreline for your folding chairs, blankets and/or people watching. It’s the perfect place to spend the day relaxing, swimming, or floating down the rapids with friends and family.

Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a peaceful spot by the water, this hidden gem is worth the less than half hour trip from The Homestead! Two adults, two teens, and 3+ hours later

⚠️ Safety reminder: Always wear a life jacket! The rapids can be strong, so please don’t attempt them unless you’re a confident swimmer. The Kayak Park has abundance of jackets to borrow and the Homestead now offers fun water toys to enhance the experience!

Something magical happened this weekend at the Homestead….A proposal at sunset point, and she said yes!! 💍🌅

We were honored to host the newly engaged couple and their families for this special event, spending time together as they begin the next beautiful chapter of their lives together.

🎶 These are a few of my favorite swings… 🎶

The porch swing with coffee at sunrise.

The tree swing with grandbabies laughing so hard they nearly fall off.

The bench swing where conversations somehow last longer than planned.

The lake-view swing that turns stress into deep breaths and gratitude.

And the “one more minute before we go inside” swing that somehow becomes an hour.

At The Homestead at Flint Creek Lake, the swings have become more than just places to sit. They’re therapy sessions, nap stations, date nights, storytelling spots, and front-row seats to epic sunsets.

Honestly, if peaceful moments burned calories, we’d all leave this place in peak condition. 😂

So here’s to creaky chains, swinging feet, lake breezes, and slowing down long enough to enjoy the simple things. These really are a few of my favorite swings. 💛🌅
