POV: I said I wasn’t having kids...
and somehow now I schedule my entire life around tiny pawed emotional support roommates with attachment issues.

I have:
🐾 4,000 photos of my dogs
🐾 canceled plans because “they’ve been alone too long”
🐾full conversations with them in different voices
🐾spent more on treats than groceries some weeks
🐾 moved in bed so they could be comfortable
🐾and yes...l absolutely tell them “mommy will be right back” before leaving the house.

Dog moms understand that this isn’t a hobby.
This is a full-time emotional support management position with unpaid overtime and occasional barking.

And honestly…
Frankie & Bruce could ruin my sleep schedule, steal my snacks, and side-eye me for existing... and I’d still thank them for choosing me.

Happy Dog Mom’s Day to the girls who carry treats in every purse, know the sound of a throw-up gag from a dead sleep, and consider “going somewhere dog friendly” a personality trait.
