Random things no one prepares you for when moving from California to Texas ✨

Your nervous system calms down a little.
Like… genuinely. 😭

You stop spending two hours in traffic just to get to a dinner reservation that was “mid.”

You realize having a guest room is actually life changing when family visits.

You finally have enough kitchen storage for the air fryer, blender, AND emotional support Stanley cups.

You start saying things like “should we build a pool?” which would’ve sounded absolutely unhinged back in California.

Your dog suddenly has a backyard and a personality.
Your kids play outside more.
You stop fighting for parking everywhere you go.

And somehow your new normal includes neighborhood events, pickleball courts, walking trails, and homes in Georgetown Texas or Leander Texas that would’ve cost 3 million dollars where you came from. 😵‍💫

Also nobody prepares you for how aggressively people in the north Austin suburbs romanticize HEB.

At first you laugh.
Then suddenly you’re emotionally attached to a grocery store too.

If you’re relocating from California and moving to Austin, I need you to know this:

most people moving here THINK they want downtown Austin… until they see what life actually looks like in the north Austin suburbs. ✨

More space.
Better value.
Beautiful new construction.
Designer kitchens.
Actual community.
A slower pace without feeling boring.

And honestly? That version of Texas just hits different.

DM me “MOVE” if you want my guide to moving to Austin, Georgetown Texas, Leander Texas, Liberty Hill, and the best north Austin suburbs for relocators 🤍

You moved from California and now your life looks like this ✨🤍

Your commute is shorter.
Your house is bigger.
Your stress levels are lower.
And somehow you still ended up with the designer kitchen, neighborhood pool, and walk in pantry you thought only existed on Pinterest.

Meanwhile your friends back in California are still mildly offended by what your mortgage payment gets you in the suburbs north of Austin 😂

Now your life looks like:
✨ sunset walks through master planned communities
✨ brunch in Georgetown
✨ community events in Liberty Hill
✨ beautiful new construction homes in Leander
✨ top rated schools in Round Rock
✨ dinner parties instead of fighting traffic
✨ enough room for guests, kids, dogs, and hobbies you swore you’d have time for one day

And honestly? This is why so many people are relocating from California to Texas right now.

Because the dream isn’t just owning a home anymore.

It’s owning a lifestyle that actually feels good to live in.

If you’ve been thinking about moving to the Austin suburbs, relocating to Texas, or finding a luxury style home without California prices… message me “MOVE” and I’ll send you the best Austin suburbs based on your budget, commute, lifestyle, and the vibe you actually want day to day ✨

POV: you’re relocating to Texas, walk into a gorgeous model home in the Austin suburbs, and sign with the builder before talking to a realtor first 😭

Me: “no no no no no”

Because nobody tells relocation buyers this 👇

The builder’s sales rep works for the builder. Not for YOU.

Which means you could miss:
✨ builder incentives
✨ rate buydowns
✨ negotiation opportunities
✨ lot premium discounts
✨ third party inspection guidance
✨ resale comparisons
✨ better neighborhoods for your lifestyle
✨ hidden tax rate differences between suburbs

And honestly? Some of the prettiest model homes in Georgetown, Leander, Liberty Hill, and the North Austin suburbs are specifically designed to make you emotionally commit FAST.

Especially if you’re moving from California, Seattle, Denver, or another expensive city and suddenly seeing what your money gets you in Texas 👀

I’m all for falling in love with the dream.

I just want you protected before you sign anything 🤍

Because the right realtor should help you compare builders, negotiate smarter, understand the REAL monthly payment, and make sure your “dream home” actually fits your long term lifestyle.

Especially in master planned communities like Wolf Ranch, Santa Rita Ranch, and surrounding Austin suburbs where options vary wildly depending on taxes, schools, commute, amenities, and resale value.

If you’re relocating to Texas and considering new construction, send me a DM before you walk into a model home so I can help you avoid the mistakes most out of state buyers make ✨

The suburbs north of Austin feel like what millennials thought adulthood was going to feel like✨

Not adulthood in the “girlboss burnout and $22 salads eaten in traffic” kind of way.

I mean adulthood where:
• your kitchen is actually big enough for the air fryer AND the emotional support espresso machine
• your kids can run outside without you spiraling
• your friends come over and say “wait… you paid HOW much for this?”
• your neighborhood has a pool, walking trails, and suspiciously attractive dads pushing strollers
• you finally have the guest room you swore you’d have by 32

Places like Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Leander, and Round Rock are full of people who moved here thinking they were “settling down” and accidentally ended up with a better quality of life.

Because it turns out luxury now is:
✨ peace and quiet
✨ a designer looking home without coastal California pricing
✨ good schools
✨ parking without a blood pressure spike
✨ enough room to host book club even if nobody actually read the book

And the wild part is so many people relocating here had no idea this lifestyle was even possible for them until they visited the Austin suburbs.

Anyway. If you’re currently paying an offensive amount of money to be stressed in a tiny apartment somewhere… message me “MOVE” and I’ll show you what your life could actually look like here 🤍

“Hot take but if I were relocating to Texas… I probably wouldn’t choose Austin itself.”

I’d choose the suburbs surrounding it 🤍

Because eventually you realize the dream life isn’t fighting traffic to get brunch.

It’s:
✨ a beautiful home that feels peaceful
✨ enough space for a guest room and a gym
✨ slow Target runs on weekday mornings
✨ kids riding bikes outside
✨ dinner reservations that don’t require a personality disorder to get into
✨ community pools in the summer
✨ neighbors who actually know your name
✨ feeling like life got softer instead of harder

That’s why so many people end up falling in love with places like Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Leander, and Round Rock.

You still get access to Austin.

But your everyday life feels calmer, prettier, easier.

And honestly? That’s the real luxury now.

Comment “MOVE” and I’ll send you the Austin suburbs I’d personally recommend based on the kind of lifestyle you want ✨

POV: your out of state friends visit your house in little ol Georgetown TX and suddenly the group chat is full of Zillow links by midnight 😂🤍

Because there’s something mildly offensive about realizing the same budget that gets you a tiny house or cramped apartment in some cities gets you THIS in the suburbs north of Austin ✨

A designer kitchen with enough room for everyone to gather.
A backyard.
A guest room.
Neighborhood pools and walking trails.
Quiet mornings with coffee on the patio.
A home that feels peaceful, elevated, and actually livable.

Places like Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Leander, and Round Rock have a way of making people completely rethink what they want their life to feel like.

Not in a flashy way.

In a “wait… we could actually live like this?” kind of way.

And honestly, that’s usually the exact moment the “I’d never move to Texas” friend starts checking Zillow in secret 👀✨

If that’s you, comment MOVE and I’ll send you my free guide to moving to the soft life in the suburbs 😉

There’s something about the North Austin suburbs that people from out of state immediately notice.

Life feels calmer here.

More space.
More light.
More beauty in the everyday.

And homes like this are exactly why so many people are quietly leaving expensive cities for a different kind of lifestyle.

This former model home is under $700k, yet every detail feels elevated.
The warm finishes.
The natural light.
The thoughtful design.
The kind of kitchen people actually gather in.

It’s not flashy luxury.
It’s comfortable luxury.
The kind that makes everyday life feel softer.

I truly believe some of the best lifestyles around Austin exist just outside the city in communities designed for slower mornings, growing families, and a little more room to breathe.

DM me “NORTH” and I’ll send you my favorite neighborhoods with this same feel 🤍

I hate to say it… but some of these builder “upgrades” are not upgrades 😬

If you’ve ever walked into a model home and thought “this is PERFECT”… I need you to hear this 👇

As a buyers agent here in Austin, I see it all the time.
The model is giving luxury… but what you’re actually getting is VERY different once you sign.

Builders know exactly what they’re doing.
They load the model with the best finishes, the best lighting, the best layout… and then hand you a design center menu full of options that can quietly date your home before you even move in.

And no one tells you.

So let me be the one that does 👀

Here’s the truth most people won’t say

Just because it’s offered doesn’t mean it’s a good choice and just because it’s in the model doesn’t mean it comes standard.

My job is to protect you from spending hundreds of thousands on a home that already feels outdated.

Especially if you’re relocating to Austin and don’t know what to look for yet… this is where people get burned

You deserve to walk into your home and feel like it was done RIGHT.
Not like you got sold on a dream and handed something completely different.

If you’re even thinking about new construction in Austin, send me a message before you walk into that model home. I’ll tell you exactly what’s worth it… and what’s not

I would entertain sooo hard here 😌🌅

Like doors open, music playing, kids outside, everyone just slowly migrating to the backyard because… how could you not

This is the part of moving to the Austin suburbs that sneaks up on people
you don’t just get more space
you get a completely different way of living

Prettier views
slower evenings
and homes that actually make you want to host and have people over

I swear this is why so many people end up choosing Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, and Liberty Hill

It just feels better out here

If you’re moving to Austin Texas and want this kind of lifestyle, I’ll show you exactly where to find it 👀

04/30/2026

I hate to break it to you… but if you’re relocating to Austin with a $500K budget, the city address isn’t where the magic is 👀

This is what that same budget gets you in Pflugerville, Texas just 25 minutes north of Austin 👇

One of the most established, master planned communities in the area

✨ Homes that feel elevated for the price
✨ A true neighborhood vibe with space, amenities, and community
✨ Easy access to highways, shopping, and everything you actually use daily
✨ Zoned to Pflugerville ISD schools that serve this growing community
✨ Surrounded by continued development which = long term upside

Here’s what smart relocation buyers are realizing…

It’s not about saying you live in Austin.
It’s about how your life actually feels when you get home.

More space
Less stress
Better value
Stronger lifestyle

If you’re moving to Austin Texas and want help finding neighborhoods that give you the most for your money without sacrificing lifestyle…

DM me “AUSTIN” and I’ll send you the areas you should actually be looking at 👀🏡✨
