My kids ALWAYS have a blast at this park and I just can’t keep them off the zip line! Just 20ish minutes down south on 35 from Georgetown and you have a full days worth of play.

Bring their bikes, scooters, and skates so they can zip around the mini Round Rock, possibly a change of clothes for the sand and water area, and lastly snacks and drinks when it’s time to refresh and rehydrate!

If your kiddo loves making friends at the park, this one is never low on the opportunity.

🏘️Community You Should Know - January🏘️

Where Heart Meets Home at Truewood by Merrill ~ Georgetown 🛌✨

I spent my Thursday morning this week at Truewood by Merrill here in Georgetown for a networking breakfast, and I’m still thinking about the incredible energy there!

It’s one thing to see happy and engaged residents, but it’s another to see a team that truly functions like a family. I had the pleasure of meeting a number of team members from:

Patience in Memory Care, whose dedication is so evident.

Ms. Evelyn, the nurse keeping everyone including her team healthy and happy.

Sandra, the Senior Executive Chef, who whipped up some bomb breakfast tacos (and yes, I went home with a cup of her homemade salsa! 🌶️ I’m using it with my chips 😅).

The standout moment? Meeting their Maintenance Supervisor who has been with the community for almost 10 years! Coming from property management, I stayed in the office but understood how critical a maintenance team can be. In an industry like property management, handling things from preventative maintenance to resident service requests and everything in between shows that that kind of longevity is a massive testament to the community they’ve built. 🛠️

When the staff loves where they work, you know the residents are being cared for deeply.
