Tis the season for giving, and Paul Reed Construction is looking for your help in making Christmas for some less fortunate boys and girls, a little more cheery and bright!
Starting Monday, December 7th through Thursday, December 17th, we're going to be holding a Toy Drive at our main office at 2970 N. 10th St. in Gering! Toys, games, puzzles, books, sports equipment, you name it, we welcome it, for boys or girls of all age ranges.
From 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm, bring your new, still in original packaging, unwrapped gifts and place them in our Loader parked out front, and let's see how many times we can fill the bucket! In case of poor weather, you can drop the gift off inside our office. Cash and check donations accepted as well, with checks made payable to Paul Reed Construction.
All donations will be given to CAPWN, for distribution to local families in need. As of today, they already have over 250 families who have applied for assistance, and over 700 children.
While we all have certainly been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic is some way shape or form this year, if you are able to help someone less fortunate, we ask that you please do.
Special thanks to Lighthouse Electric for the use of their enclosed trailer to help safely and securely store the gifts, KNEB Radio for their help in spreading the word, and all the great people and local businesses who have already donated to the cause! We look forward to making this a fantastic Christmas for all, and we'd love to make this an annual tradition!
