What an absolute honor it was to represent these sellers as they downsized into their next home. We first connected back in February, interviewed to represent them, got hired, and then got to work building a marketing strategy for a home that was truly one of a kind.

How’s the Gig Harbor market, really? 👀👀

Here’s the data-backed answer, plus what we’re seeing work in the Pierce County + Gig Harbor market every day. (And, graph towards the end if your nerdy like us and love analyzing trends and numbers 🤓)

Does it feel different? Yes.
Is inventory higher? Yes.
Are days on market higher? Yes.
Have more deals fallen apart than in years past? Yes.

But are people still buying homes? Absolutely. That’s the thing. They always will. The situations are different, the reasons are different, and every buyer and seller has a different story.

And interestingly, we’re pacing for a very similar year to last year, with roughly 800 homes expected to sell in Gig Harbor.

So how’s the market?

It’s more selective. “The market” means something very different at $500K than it does at $5M.

Priced right + shows well = still moving.
Miss on one of those = it can sit.
