Some of my most favorite clients are dog lovers. Not only because we share the same understanding about how wonderful these beings are but because when I show them houses, they often have their dog/s in mind. I know some laugh at it but it's true. People who truly treat their dogs family have their dogs in their minds when they're out there looking for a home and I've had those buyers. Either "a fenced yard for my dog" or "nearby trails to walk with our dog" is a must for them.

February is pet owners month. I do not want to call my dogs something I own, because that makes them seem disposable. I'd rather call this month "pet lovers month". Besides, February is a love month so I think it's more appropriate to call it that 🥰🐾.

Puppy-proof your home by removing choking hazards, designating play spaces and protecting your furniture and flooring.

“Whenever you feel guilty about not giving your dog the best life, whenever you feel like you are working too late while your dog is at home, whenever you think about surrendering your dog because you “can’t give them the life they deserve”, just look at this picture of kennel manager Trevor Denham and the team at The City of Mobile Animal Services getting ready for dinner time. You can see one dog with his paw out waiting for his food.

For these dogs locked in their kennels, this is the highlight of their day, they have absolutely nothing.

Your dog would much prefer being on your sofa waiting for you to come home, rather than being stuck in here, I promise you are doing just fine.
Keep them home where they belong.”
