This was a first for me! 🏠

Dug into a preliminary title commitment this week and found an unsatisfied judgment against the seller — not unusual. But when I pulled the court docs, it traced back to an identity fraud conviction from over 20 years ago.

This is exactly why I comb through every line of a title report. An old, unpaid judgment doesn't always mean trouble at closing — most can be resolved through escrow — but an identity fraud flag? That gets my full attention, every time.

Section 901 of the ROAD to Housing Act would **force newly built single-family rental homes to be sold within 7 years**.

That could:
• Push tenants out of stable homes
• Reduce rental housing options
• Flood some markets and hurt local home values

Policies should **increase housing supply—not destabilize it**.

📣 **Take 60 seconds to act:** Contact your U.S. Senators and ask them to **remove the forced sale provision from Section 901** of the ROAD to Housing Act.

This year I’ve finally started organizing our garage. We got the garage door replaced in February, then the garage door opener installed, a car charger installed, and now it’s time to get the bins sorted. I started by investing in my first home in 2010 in California to take advantage of the potential appreciation and in 2018 relocated to Bremerton to invest in a duplex that I own & manage. I'm active in local real estate investment groups and East Bremerton Rotary volunteer projects.

I'm an Army veteran of 13 years, and understand how deployments and moves impact military families. During my service I worked in operations, logistics support, transportation, military intelligence, purchasing, IT, etc and was stationed in Fort Snelling, Los Angeles, Kuwait, Oakland, with short tours in Japan, Korea and across the states. After my service I got my BFA in Interior Architecture and Design.

When I'm not helping my clients to buy, sell, or invest in real estate, I like to cook/ bake, volunteer in the community, take drives and go on hikes with my dog.
