The wire scams are out there. That's why I tell my clients about this particular one that can affect their whole life!! Please be vigilant when wiring money. Double check the email on wiring instructions by going in to the business or calling the business to double check if it is right.

This is a real thing people! And almost impossible to recover the funds once stolen. This is why Ticor Title takes our buyer and seller security very seriously. We were targeted just yesterday, but our teams know what to look for. When we send wire instructions, we ALWAYS send them via two factor authentication and confirm with a phone call. We also use a secure portal for most of our communication. Some of our clients find this inconvenient, but we would never want to lose our clients life savings over inconvenience.
