☕️ COMING SOON TO GILBERT 7 Brew Coffee is coming to the Fry’s plaza on the southwest corner of Baseline and Gilbert.

Interestingly, this is the same site where Angie’s Prime Grill announced plans to build approximately four years ago, but that location never moved forward.

7 Brew is known for its highly customizable coffee, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies and shakes. No opening date has been announced yet, but we’ll keep you updated as the project progresses.

NOW OPEN: The Escape Game is officially open in Downtown Gilbert!

This is the company’s first Arizona location, joining more than 50 locations nationwide. A second Arizona location is also planned for Downtown Phoenix.

They definitely did not cut any corners with this buildout. The attention to detail is incredible, and some of the spaces honestly feel like Disney designed them.

There are five different 60-minute games to choose from:

🍝 Murder With a Side of Meatballs
🚀 Cosmic Crisis
🌊 The Depths
💎 The Heist
🏺 Ruins: Forbidden Treasure

Each game includes multiple connected rooms that open as you work through the experience. We did not show all of them in the video because we did not want to give away the secrets! 👀

The Escape Game is perfect for date night, family fun, team building or a night out with friends.

🥗 End of an Arizona Original

Sad news for Arizona.

Employees were informed today that Salad and Go , the drive-thru salad chain founded in Gilbert in 2013, is permanently closing all of its locations after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company says its final day of service will be Wednesday.

What started as a single location in Gilbert grew into a popular brand with locations across Arizona and Nevada, becoming a go-to spot for affordable salads, wraps, breakfast burritos, and lemonades.

The company cited ongoing financial challenges, slowing consumer demand, rising costs, and industry headwinds as reasons for the closure.

COMMERCIAL: Echoes Church is planning a new location inside the former Macy’s at Superstition Springs Center.

The church currently holds its Sunday services at Desert Ridge High School in East Mesa, but the former Macy’s could provide it with a much larger permanent home.

The three-story building is more than 155,000 square feet and includes nearly 1,000 parking spaces.

The project is still in the early planning stages.
