If you bought a new build in 2022 chances are you are about to see a big increase in your property taxes. If you do not have enough funds in your escrow account to cover the increase expect to see your mortgage go up in 2023. ​​​​​​​​

If you are unsure, check with your mortgage holder to see what kind of increase you could be looking at. ​​​​​​​​

Happy Birthday to the best friend and business partner I could ever ask for!

Often times people think Nicole and I met in real estate when the truth is we have been friends for 8 years. We’ve seen the best and the worst of life together and our paths crossed quite a bit before we ever actually met so we like to think our friendship was written in the stars. Saving money can be a struggle for many people, especially around the holidays. With a little focus you can keep your self on track this year and start 2023 off without the dreaded credit card bills!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
1. I save for the holidays all year long, and shop the deals when I find them. From thanksgiving dinner to a Christmas tree you can bet it is part of my planned budget. ​​​​​​​​
2. We all know those little trips to Target and Starbucks can really add up but don't forget to account for that quick stop at the gas station too. ​​​​​​​​
3. Often times we subscribe to something and then completely forget about it. For us, it was trash can cleaning this year! Check your phone app store for recurring changes on apps, your TV for apps that maybe you subscribed to so you could watch the last season of Game of Thrones and never unsubscribed. ​​​​​​​​
4. Impulse shopping has increased with the ease of ordering things from your phone. I am forever adding things to my amazon cart and letting it sit there for a week or two while I decide whether I really need it or it just sounded great in the moment.​​​​​​​​
5. Creating a separate savings account for things like holiday spending or a vacation fun is a great was to save. Make sure you can access the account easily but not so easy that you're just transferring money to get that great new purse you saw!​​​​​​​​
