I just had 3 amazing days with my best friend! This was our first time spending nights away from Oliver, and I couldn’t be more proud of Sarah. She handled it so well!

We try to do a marriage getaway each year. Usually, it’s local or a quick camping trip, but this time we picked somewhere new, and we went to...Vegas!

We came for the shows and the food, and let me just say, they both delivered! We did something completely out of our comfort zone and went to a restaurant where you eat in complete darkness. That was such an experience, and I learned that I love carrot soup. Who would've thought?! Honestly, we’re still dreaming about a couple of those meals. 🤤

But honestly, one of my favorite parts was the long car rides. Ten years in, and I still love just talking and laughing with Sarah on the road! ❤️

We always make sure to have a couple of simple goals: Pick some marriage things to talk about (this time it was legacy), and just HAVE FUN enjoying each other's company.

What a fun trip we had, making amazing memories together!

Some families leave a mark not just because of what they’re looking for, but because of how they go about the journey. This family was thoughtful from the very beginning. In fact, they stewarded my time and energy even more than I tried to steward theirs... something I don’t take for granted.

There were big decisions along the way that brought clarity and direction as we moved forward. And while navigating the balance between wants and needs is never easy, they handled every pivot and logistical curveball with so much grace and wisdom.

Hearing how they plan to use their space for learning and growing reminded me of my homeschooled memories in the place I grew up. The kind of home that shapes more than just memories, it shapes character and connection. ❤️

Buying or selling a home is always personal, but it hits differently when the connection comes through a trusted relationship. It means so much to me when someone passes on my name to a friend or loved one when they are looking to buy or sell a home. That connection, through a trusted friend, makes the whole process more meaningful.

This recent home purchase was no exception. The buyers were in one of their busiest seasons of life…graduations 🎓 , hosting summer camps 🏕️, and juggling all the day-to-day things that don’t pause just because you're buying a home. Their journey was dynamic to say the least. But they stayed the course, stewarded their time wisely , and we found them the one.
