Jones Soda was my first paycheck, after 6 hours in the yard every Saturday, we would go to the gas station and I got to pick from Cream Soda, Candy Apple, Or Blueberry Lemonade, and we kept the bottles. My dad always was quirky and he would say “That’s what hard work feels like!” When we each got that first sip on those hot humid Connecticticut Summer Saturdays, I learned a lot from my dad not the least of which is it’s okay to work just to see how much you can get done in a day, whether that’s a green lawn, great landscaping, or scraping together a Contract. I love these lessons, and I love a great life because of them!
