iPhone users (Apple Notes) 🔒

Option 1: Lock a note (Face ID / Touch ID / passcode)
1. Open Notes
2. Open the note you want to protect
3. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow up)
4. Scroll and tap Lock Note
5. Choose Use Face ID/Touch ID (or set a Notes password if prompted)
6. After locking, tap the lock icon at the top to lock it immediately

If you don’t see the “three dots” (…):
• On iPhone, Apple Notes often uses Share (⬆️) or the More button instead of 3 dots.
• Try these quick fixes:
1. Tap inside the note (so the cursor is active) and look again at the top.
2. Tap Share (⬆️) → look for Lock Note in the list.
3. If you still don’t see it: go to Settings → Notes → Password and set it up first, then return to Notes and try again.
4. Make sure the note is stored in iCloud or On My iPhone (some work/school managed accounts can block locking).

To open a locked note:
1. Tap the locked note
2. Tap View Note
3. Authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID/passcode

Android users 🔐

Because Android phones use different notes apps, here are the common ones:

A) Samsung Notes (has a built-in lock)
1. Open Samsung Notes
2. Open the note
3. Tap ⋮ (three dots) (usually top right)
4. Tap Lock
5. Confirm with PIN/password/fingerprint

B) Google Keep (most common—lock the app)
Google Keep doesn’t lock individual notes, but you can lock the whole app:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Security & privacy (or Privacy / Biometrics & security depending on phone)
3. Tap App lock (sometimes “Lock apps”)
4. Turn it On
5. Select Google Keep
6. Choose PIN / fingerprint / face unlock requirement

C) Samsung Secure Folder (extra private)
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Biometrics and security
3. Tap Secure Folder
4. Set it up with a PIN/fingerprint
5. Add your notes app inside Secure Folder (or create notes inside it)

Has this happened to you? You apply for a loan and suddenly your phone blows up with calls from other lenders & it makes you want to throw your phone off a bridge!!! What is happening is that the credit bureaus are selling the fact that you pulled credit…it’s called a TRIGGER LEAD.

Here is my tip of the day! Right now, visit this website (it’s legit) and OPT OUT of trigger leads. Do this a few days BEFORE YOU APPLY & keep a healthy relationship with your phone, and your lender.

If you noticed your iPhone is charging slower recently it may be due to a new setting Apple added in iOS 16.1 — Clean Energy Charging.

With it turned on, iOS will only recharge the iPhone's battery when the electrical grid uses ‘clean energy sources’ like solar or wind.

You can disable it under Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging.
