Today marks my 10 year anniversary with Ridgeway. It’s hard to put into words what this last decade has meant to me.
When I started, I was doing remodel work. From there came rental property management, then house flipping, more listings than I can remember, and eventually the opportunity to step into multifamily development and construction. Looking back, the path wasn’t something I could have mapped out when I started—and I think that’s what makes it so meaningful.
Every stage has stretched me in a different way. I’ve learned how to build things, solve problems, lead people, make difficult decisions, own mistakes, and keep moving when I didn’t have all the answers. There have been plenty of uncomfortable seasons along the way, but those are usually the seasons where the most growth happened.
Ten years later, I’m incredibly grateful for the trust Ridgeway has placed in me and for the opportunities I’ve been given to grow alongside this company. I’m thankful for the people I’ve worked with, the lessons they’ve taught me, and all the experiences—good and difficult—that have helped shape the person and professional I am today.
I definitely don’t have everything figured out, and I hope I never get to the point where I think I do. There’s still a lot to learn, a lot to build, and plenty of room to grow.
Grateful for the last 10 years. Proud of how far we’ve come. And excited to see what the next chapter brings.
