I was just reading a post on my neighborhood FB page and one lady very matter-of-factly stated to another that she should sell her home herself...for sale by owner...because Realtor's will sell her home at a discount. Well...I don't know. Some Realtors might if they are on a big team or love their voice on the radio or tv, or that they are in the top 1% of all agents in the world, or whatever. They may have to get there through volume rather than quality....maybe.
Not me.
I'm a real estate professional. A Realtor. Have been for almost 15 years. I am an independent contractor. I'm not on a team...I don't chase leads given to me by a team leader and I don't spend thousands of dollars generating leads to hand off to my team members. If you call me for help with real estate, I answer the phone. I meet with you to learn about your needs and desires. I research the market trends and comparable sold properties to help develop and implement a plan to meet your needs and desires.
So, let me paint a very clear picture for you. The more money I sell your home for, the more money I make. Please help me understand WHY I would sell your home at a discount? If I'm not meeting or exceeding your needs and desires, I am not fulfilling my fiduciary responsibilities to you as a Realtor and we should absolutely go separate ways. However, the last home I listed in Power Ranch sold for $71k over the asking price. Those sellers were just as happy as I was!
I've helped friends and family buy and sell several Millions of dollars of real estate in my nearly 15 years as a Realtor, and every client I've ever had knows my name and worked exclusively with me throughout the entire process...no team members, no transaction coordinators, no receptionists...just me...every time.
