Congratulations to my buyer who just went under contract on a brand-new home!
One thing many buyers don't realize is that new construction builders...especially on completed spec homes...are currently offering some incredible lender incentives. While the programs, rates, and incentives vary by builder and community, they can make a substantial difference in your monthly payment.
For example, on a $425,000 home using FHA financing, the difference between a 3.75% APR and a 6.75% APR can be approximately $800 per month in principal and interest payments alone.
