Happy Easter everyone! Boy was this Easter not at all what I imagined it to be. But I think it was everything we needed it to be! So thankful for a loving Father who has proven time and time again that He is worthy indeed of my time, of my thoughts and of my love even though I fall short everyday of being worthy of His time, of His thoughts, of His love. But yet He chose us, broken hot messes that we are. Gosh how thankful I am for a love like that! Love you all!! If you ever need prayer or an ear to listen, we are here for you! 😘

This virus may seem like it’s ruling the world and in many ways it truly feels like it is. My heart literally breaks every time I hear of someone who is personally affected by this virus. And truth be told I just wish it would all be over. Life looks and feels different. Fear of the unknown is unsettling and scary. But I am refusing to let fear rule our home. Instead I am focusing on finding the purpose in the everyday.

So many times I get caught up in looking so far into the future I forget to focus on the day that is right here, right now. So I’m using this downtime to do just that. To focus on the purpose of everyday things: the purpose of the food I am eating and feeding my family, the purpose of my role as a wife and a mom and ensuring it is exactly what my husband and kids need from me in this moment, the purpose of my daily routine and if i am truly incorporating things that make me a better healthier version of myself.

So I encourage you to use this downtime and rule your world, your home. Focus on the purpose of the everyday. This isn’t going to last forever so what we do now can change our lives for the better in the future. Go rule your world!
