Busby Construction began to hook up the sewer connection this week. Originally we were going to have just a holding tank and have it pumped on a regular schedule but by code, that was not allowed. A delay in the start of the entire project was because the airport was going to bring in the utilities. Once that began, we started. Only to find out that the engineer for both the airport and for ourselves was incompetent and never put two and two together treating both projects separately and only designed to the lot before us, never considering our lot. The airport corrected the oversight but this delayed the schedule even more adding costs and time. This is the final step of this project. Busby will be back next week to construct inverts and final inspection from the town. Once completed, the restroom will be operational and permanent CofO can be issued.

As we near the end of this project, many of the new owners are taking the advantage of having their floor epoxied. We have inspections schedule tomorrow and work will continue through the week to have 9 individual floors completed. Fire Department inspection will be completed as soon as monitoring is in place. Security cameras and Internet will be completed before the week ends as we are going with Starlink since all the ground base providers are working on quotes to price construction cost to run new cabling. I can't think of a better way to run one's business out of business. Charge a customer extraordinary connecting charges and then expect to pay a monthly charge on top of that.
