Why Wyoming? Why 216 R Ranch Rd?
Wyoming ranks second-lowest in population density at less than 6 people per square mile. 216 R Ranch Rd is located in Crook County which has an even lower population density at roughly 2.8 people per square mile.
Wyoming residents enjoy hunting large game animals such as Elk, Mule and White-Tailed Deer, Pronghorn, Moose, Big Horn Sheep, and Mountain Goats. As well as trophy and small game animals such as Black Bear and Wild Turkey. Coyotes are considered a predatory animal in the state and are not limited to a season or bag limit. Shed hunting is also very popular.
Many of the same lands that host Wyoming’s wildlife also boast great camping spots with nature trail hikes, water sports, and ATV or snowmobiling tracks.
In public education Wyoming consistently ranks in the top 5 to 10 states nationally, and consistently scores well above average. Wyoming has a robust mineral and mining industry and funnels generous funds to the public school system. This leads to exceptional access to extracurricular activities such as indoor and outdoor sports, music, art, and rodeo; which is organized and regulated by the Wyoming High School Rodeo Association (WHSRA). In fact, the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) will be hosted in neighboring town Gillette, WY in 2028 and 2029.
Regional food banks, disaster relief assistance, sober living programs, and programs that aid the elderly are often community-driven.
