Why are the Supraglacial lakes (glacier pools) SO BLUE? 💙

It's not reflection, it's rock flour! These tiny, suspended rock particles act like a prism, scattering the light to create this vibrant, milky blue hue. Science is beautiful! 🚁

For the best chance to see the vibrant glacier pools, aim for spring and summer! But don't worry, the glaciers themselves are a breathtaking, unforgettable sight year-round! ✨
