So I'm in the Chick-fil-A drive thru when I get an upsetting phone call that brought tears to my eyes. It was then when the CFA employee came to take my order. I was a little choked up and told her I had just got an upsetting phone call. She was very friendly and told me she hopes my day will got better.

When I got to work to unbag my food, I saw a cookie that I didn't order. Then, I saw a handwritten note from that same girl. All I can say is my ❤️ was so touched. For her to take time to write the note to me and give me a little extra special something, means to me that she is a true example of light in this world. I thanked God for Kayla. Her kindness is so appreciated. 🙌

Imagine if we all did an act of kindness each day like this. The world would be a better place.

“I debated rather or not to post anything about this.....but with all of the negative things happening in the world today.....I felt this story should be told....while at the Phelps County Fair in Rolla, Mo. this weekend watching my daughter show her Goat for her FFA chapter.....I witnessed something nothing short of a miracle.....this young girl walked her Lamb out to the center of the ring and the auctioneer told her story.....the once loud and packed livestock auction ring was now as quiet as a mouse.....this little girl had been raising this Lamb to show at the fair and it was a project that her and her Mom was doing as a project together....as we heard her story about her finding her mother who had passed unexpectedly just a couple weeks prior to the fair there wasn’t many dry eyes in the place....She was there to show the Lamb on her own....as the auctioneer started off the bidding I witnessed something like I’d never seen before.....no words were spoken....just the continuous nod of heads as her Lamb....(the smallest in the show) sold for $25 dollars per pound.....then the buyer donated the Lamb back to be sold again....the Lamb was purchased and resold 4 times for this little girl....the total the Lamb sold for was approximately $80 a pound! Then I lost count of how many premiums was given after the sale for the little girl. Premiums are donations that go directly to the kid showing the animal...kind of like a bonus.....I never heard the total amount that was made for the small girl....but no need.....She also got to keep her Lamb at the end....then they asked that all of us who gave premiums to please come into the ring with the girl and her Lamb for a photo.....(Which I would love to get a copy of somehow) I did and as I was leaving the ring a man with tears in his eyes held his hand out and thanked me for helping his little girl.....I just smiled with a huge lump in my throat and said it was my honor....such an act of kindness from total strangers that came together for one little girl....this is why country folk are my kind of people....just good hearted folks that take care of one another.”
