Our residents enjoyed an interesting and educational presentation on Early Oregon History, presented by the Oregon Historical Society. Residents had the opportunity to learn more about Oregon’s early days, including the people, places, and events that helped shape our state. It was a wonderful opportunity to reminisce, discover new facts, and appreciate the rich history of the community we call home. We are grateful to Bill Nelson from the Oregon Historical Society for sharing their knowledge and bringing Oregon’s fascinating past to life for our residents.

Oktoberfest at Somerset Lodge was a celebration to remember!

We filled the afternoon with delicious food, live music, laughter, and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit!

Our non-alcoholic b**r garden was a hit, giving everyone a chance to raise a stein, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate good times with great friends.

Our outing to Mount St. Helens for the anniversary of the eruption was both meaningful and memorable. Residents enjoyed the beautiful scenery while learning about the historic 1980 eruption and its impact on the surrounding communities and environment. The bus ride included interesting conversations and memories about where the residents were when the eruption happened.

Our Mother’s Day Tea Social was filled with laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories. Residents, families, and friends gathered together to enjoy delicious treats, warm tea, and great company in a beautifully decorated setting. We had a blast making peanut butter bird feeders, getting hands-on as we spread peanut butter and rolled our creations in birdseed to share with nature. The fun continued with a Chef Demo featuring Chef Kristin, who showed us how to make a fresh and delicious Caprese salad using simple, flavorful ingredients. It was a wonderful mix of creativity, learning, and enjoying time together.
