Before you argue with someone, ask yourself, is that person even mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different prospective. Because if not, there's absolutely no point. No matter how clearly you express yourself, the other person isn't listening to understand - they're listening to react. They're stuck in their own perspective unwilling to consider another point of view.

In the past, a monthly report on import prices from the Bureau of Labor Statistics has generally not received much attention, but investors are keeping a closer eye on it now with tariffs in the spotlight. Import Prices in February, expected to be roughly flat from January, instead climbed 0.4%, boosted by higher costs for consumer goods. This is important because import prices are measured before any tariffs are imposed. One big question is whether exporters in other countries will lower their prices to at least partially offset higher tariffs or whether U.S. households and businesses will absorb the costs.

Electrical issues are one of the most common problems found in home inspections spotting red flags early is key to unexpected costs. Residential home standards for new homes now require a minimum 100A electrical service, with 200A becoming more typical. Older homes often had 60A service, so again, there is a cost to consider. Distribution panels Look for panels that are rusted, are very old, have damaged breakers or breakers by multiple manufacturers or look like a homeowner may have done the install. Federal Pacific and Zinsco are two panel brands that have been the subject of class action lawsuits and should be replaced due to safety issues. Also look for fuse boxes - not unsafe, but a signal that upgrading is past due.
