Welcome to Adena’s Walk! We are a 55+ active adult community located in a quiet residential area in Glastonbury, Ct. We feature architect-designed, detached, two floor, single family homes and attached two car garages with three different models to choose from; Sage, Rosemary and Tarragon. At present, our Association consists of 28 occupied homes, 1 under construction, and 4 additional undeveloped properties available for a total of 33.
All homes feature first floor master bedrooms, open floor plans, high-end fully applianced kitchen, custom cabinetry, hardwood floors, first floor laundry with washer and dryer connections, gas fireplaces and 10' X 18' deck with pressure treated lumber. Roofing is designed with 30 year architectural asphalt shingles. All styles have full basements with hatchways for easy access storage. We utilize city water and sewers and all utility wires are underground. Adena's Walk is on a private road maintained by the Association. Monthly fees include master insurance policy for exterior structure, lawn mowing and fertilization, tree and shrub trimming, snow removal, trash removal, and all exterior maintenance (roof, siding, decks, etc.)
Our Association is composed of people from all walks of life who have come together to enjoy a friendly, low maintenance, and congenial neighborhood lifestyle. Unit owners have the opportunity to engage in social activities such as book club, ladies luncheon, men’s breakfast, and various owner hosted seasonal parties and activities.
Hartford Magazine voted Adena's Walk as the #1 55+ Community in 2016. The aesthetic beauty, coupled with the exceptional interpersonal relationships established in this community combine to form one of Glastonbury’s finest experience in adult living.
I, along with the Board members have had the pleasure to oversee the financial and maintenance responsibilities of this community. We are extremely proud to be part of such a wonderful neighborhood.
