For Christmas, Daniel gave me photos of my accomplishments this year. Everything up there symbolizes something new that I did in 2021. Podcasting. Renovating. Listing. Buying.

I can't wait for this wall to be covered with challenges I've overcome. Things I've learned. People I've helped.

Here's to filling out the wall and helping clients accomplish their goals. (And cleaning my desk tomorrow.)

Today's tree selection was a revelation for me. It's been some rough growth years for trees lately. And humans too, as a fact.

Our family walked around for an hour judging these conifers. Too short. Too fat. Too sparse. Too uneven. Over and over until the words nauseated me

Why the hell are we evaluating on such negative criteria? So we reprioritized. Is the height right for the room? How sturdy are the branches? Will they hold our ornaments? Is there enough space so that our big baubles won't be cramped?

We realized that the flaws we were pointing out, weren't flaws at all. That sparse branches mean more memories to hang. And short trees are perfect for an oversized tree topper. Fat is great. Skinny means less furniture shuffling.

Regardless... They all work.

This is my life lesson today, brought to you by Nuckols Tree Farm of all places. Our flaws make us who we are. Enjoy them. Exploit them. Embrace them.

After talking to multiple agents throughout this last listing, there are definitely buyers and not much to choose from in the Godwin District. For a seller on the fence, it could be an OMG! moment.

There’s a lot of talk lately about how challenging it can be to find a home to buy. While housing inventory is still low, there are a few important things to understand about the supply of homes for sale as we move into the end of the year.

Yes indeed. A busy weekend resulting in Prosecco-popping sellers. Can't beat that!

My sellers are over the moon that their received such glowing feedback. Not a surprise that it went SUPER FAST, but the amount of interest and positive remarks were heartwarming. Kinda makes up for the stress of keeping a house neat as a pin for days on end!

Things you didn't even know you needed--but you totally do. Full-sized fridge and freezer column set. I mean... The ice cream drawer is set a little bit warmer for easy scooping! (Wait, what??)
