West End demand is still steady.

Even with the 30-year rate at 7.49%, the Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 570 West End sales in the 3 months ending August 31, 2026. That is up 18% from a year before.

The bigger point is that this market is still moving, but not every pocket is moving the same way. A home off Patterson can read very differently from one off Pouncey Tract. Same general area, different story.

Every week I go through the homes for sale across the RVA metro and find the one that buyers are paying the most attention to for a home its age. This week I looked at 202 listings in Richmond.

One home pulled away from the rest. It has 180 saves and 1,879 views on Zillow. The homes we checked averaged 47 saves. This one has 285% more than that average. That kind of attention is worth knowing about.

This week's Deal of the Week comes from Henrico, and the numbers behind it are hard to ignore.

We looked at 71 homes for sale in the area. This one pulled 114 saves and 1,661 views on Zillow. The homes we checked averaged 59 saves. This home had 95% more than that. That gap tells you something about where buyer attention is going right now.
