We are pleased to share that Capital Square Housing Trust's board of directors has appointed Gus Remppies as president of the REIT.

Gus brings more than three decades of multifamily real estate experience to the role, including senior leadership positions at several public REITs, and we look forward to his leadership as Capital Square Housing Trust enters its next phase of growth.

Please join us in welcoming Enzo to the Capital Square Living team as our newest Regional Property Manager!

Enzo brings a multifaceted career built on operational excellence, team leadership, and a genuine passion for the multifamily industry. He joins CSL with a proven track record of turning around underperforming assets, developing high-performing teams, and delivering results across a diverse portfolio.

His career began at Archstone, where he rose from Porter to Maintenance Manager, gaining a ground-up understanding of property operations. He went on to hold key leadership roles at Resia, Advenir Living, and Venterra Living, where he advanced from Community Manager to Regional Manager overseeing a portfolio of more than 3,000 units.

Throughout his career, Enzo has been recognized for his ability to stabilize underperforming communities and successfully lead five lease-up communities, earning honors including Community Manager of the Year and a promotion to Traveling Community Manager. His ability to drive results, build strong teams, and lead through challenges has made him a respected leader in the multifamily industry.

In addition to his multifamily experience, Enzo also served as a Police Officer, where he was named Police Officer of the Quarter during his first year of service. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and International Relations, earned in his native Brazil.

🌟 Our Admin recipient, Sean consistently goes above and beyond, supporting both Rivergate and other communities with dedication and leadership. His positive attitude, mentorship, and genuine care create a welcoming environment for residents and teammates alike, making him truly deserving of the July 2026 Spotlight recognition.

🔧 Our Service recipient, George exemplifies dedication and reliability, consistently stepping up whenever his team needs him most. Most recently, he assisted another community during a property disposition while continuing to assist with keeping service running smoothly through his professionalism, adaptability, and positive attitude. His commitment to excellence truly him deserving of this recognition.

HIXSON HAS HEART. 💚

The strength of a community is found in the way we show up for one another—and the Hixson community is showing up for Integra Vistas Apartments. We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of kindness and support from our residents, neighbors, local organizations, and the entire Hixson community during this time.

For all residents who have been impacted, the following resources are available:

💧 Water & Non-Perishable Supplies — Thanks to the incredible generosity of Lowe's Home Improvement, bottled water, buckets, garbage bags, and other essential non-perishable supplies are available for residents in need.

🐾 Pet Supplies — A special thank you to Petco for supporting the beloved pets impacted by this tragedy. Thanks to their generous donation, cat and dog supplies are available, including pet food, beds, toys, leashes, litter, treats, and other essential items to help care for your furry family members.

📦 Hatching Hope Boxes — Need everyday household essentials? Due to the love from Hatching Hope, we have boxes containing basic necessities available for residents while supplies last.

📍 For the resources listed above, please visit the Integra Vistas Leasing Office between 8:30am - 5:30pm.

❤️ Community Donations - Thanks to the support of Berean Baptist Church - Hixson and its congregation, an abundance of donated essentials is available for those impacted. Items include clothing, baby essentials, diapers, toiletries, shoes, outerwear, household necessities, and much more.

Truckloads of donations will continue to be delivered from the church to the Integra Vistas Leasing Office. However, if you're able, we encourage you to visit the church directly. They have received such an overwhelming amount of donations that many items cannot be housed at the leasing office.

Yesterday, our Capital Square Living family experienced a heartbreaking event at Integra Vistas in Hixson, TN.

💙 We are incredibly grateful to share that no residents were injured. However, more than 40 families were impacted by a devastating fire, that was unfortunately caused by a lightning strike. Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with every resident during this difficult time.

❤️ We extend our sincere gratitude to the Chattanooga Fire Department, Police Department, and EMS for their heroic response. Their courage, professionalism, and quick actions helped contain the fire, protect our residents, and provide immediate medical assistance.

💙 Thank you to the Hixson community for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and donations. Your kindness has been truly humbling.

❤️ A special thank you to the American Red Cross for their swift response and unwavering support during this time.

💙 To our Operations Team, led by MacKenzie Diaz, our Leadership Team, the Integra Vistas onsite team, and our sister communities—THANK YOU. The immediate response, teamwork, and compassion you have shown have been nothing short of extraordinary. We are incredibly grateful for each of you.
