VBA member TD recently awarded $10 million to 40 nonprofits supporting housing stability through the 20th annual Housing for Everyone grant program. This year’s grantees will each receive a $250,000 grant, the largest award to date. In Virginia, Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services, Inc. in Fairfax was awarded a $250,000 grant. Congratulations to this year's Bank Day Scholarship Program winners! Each of the six regional winners will receive a $2,500 college scholarship. These students have been entered into statewide contests for a chance to win an additional $2,500 or $5,000 scholarship as the statewide runner-up or overall statewide winner. There were also six honorable mention winners who will each receive a $1,000 college scholarship.
