Despite the heat being turned way up during this Fall season, Thalhimer’s volunteer day at St. Joseph's Villa (Richmond, VA) was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was a great opportunity for our associates to get out of the office, give back, and learn more about one of the Richmond organizations making a meaningful impact in our community. The St. Joseph’s Villa team was incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited to have Thalhimer as a Thalhimer Gives partner this year.

Our volunteers spent the day giving the shared therapeutic garden some much-needed TLC, tackling weeds along the fence line, in the raised garden beds, and throughout the walkways and patio areas. The team also rolled up their sleeves to organize the garden shed, helping improve both the beauty and functionality of this important outdoor space.

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce that Philip Sadler has been promoted to Portfolio Manager in Thalhimer’s Commercial Property Services (CPS) Group.

Mr. Sadler joined the CPS Group as an intern in the summer of 2025 and was hired full-time as an Assistant Portfolio Manager in July 2026. Shortly after joining the team, he was assigned a mixed portfolio of 14 properties, which has since grown to 21 properties following his promotion. Today, he manages more than 819,000 square feet of office, industrial, retail, and association properties.

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) during the third quarter of 2026 through its Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative dedicated to community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve.

Thalhimer contributed a total of $8,045.02 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace during the third quarter through associate donations, which were matched dollar-for-dollar by the company. In addition, associates donated essential bedding items, including mattresses, sheets, comforter sets, pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals, helping ensure children received a fully furnished and comfortable place to sleep.

During the third quarter, the Roanoke office selected Roanoke Valley Speech & Hearing Center (RVSHC) as its Thalhimer Gives community partner. Through the generosity of associates and Thalhimer’s dollar-for-dollar matching contribution, a total of $1,155 was raised to support the organization’s mission.
