The Memories

One of the hardest things to do when downsizing is figuring out what to do with all those photos, mementos, letters, cards, etc. Some people have a box of children's artwork (like a box for each school year and each child!!). Hopefully, you will be able to part with some but for the real keepers, consider taking a photo or scanning it so you have a digital copy. Then you can upload pictures, videos, and irreplaceable mementos to a hard drive or cloud storage.
It can be hard to part with your children's gold-star kindergarten art projects. You don’t have to. Scan each sentimental picture or artwork onto your computer and toss out the physical stacks of precious memories. Invite a friend over and share the memories as you go through the boxes.
