Attention Home Buyers and Sellers!
Exciting changes are coming from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)! Starting August 17, new practice changes will be implemented to ensure more transparency and choice in real estate transactions. These changes aim to empower consumers and promote healthy competition.
Key Points:
Consumer Choice: It's crucial for consumers to have options when it comes to professional representation and costs.
📑 Form Agreements: Updated agreements will help real estate professionals communicate the full range of choices available to consumers.
📑 Offers of Compensation: Home sellers can still offer compensation to the buyer’s broker, which helps make professional representation more accessible and supports first-time and underserved buyers.
📑 NAR is committed to implementing these changes fully and in good faith to enhance your real estate experience.
NAR members and REALTOR® associations must implement the practice changes stemming from NAR’s proposed settlement agreement fully and in good faith.
