Glow big, give back! ✨ Sharing the details for a great night supporting an even greater cause! Glen Ellyn Park District

Support a great cause and get creative at the Glow in the Park Lantern Walk on Friday, September 11, from 5 to 9 pm at Lake Ellyn Park! Bring the whole family for an unforgettable evening supporting the NICU at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
🎶 Live music by Tres Moustache!
🎨 Face painting and inflatables
✨ Glow fitness activities
🦸 Costumed characters
🌭 Heavenly Hot Dogs available for purchase
🍧 Kona Ice available for purchase
🏮 7:20 pm: Lantern walk around Lake Ellyn
🏃 7:45 pm: 2K Glow Run/Walk

LANTERN KITS:
Grab a lantern kit for just $15 and decorate it ahead of the walk! Kits are available at Main Street Recreation Center through September 4, with a limited number available at the event. All proceeds benefit the Lurie Children’s Hospital NICU.

ADMISSION:
Entry to Glow in the Park is FREE, though cash donations to support the NICU are greatly appreciated! Registration for the 2K is available online at https://bit.ly/4ukM1pD or on-site at the event; fees apply.

We were cruisin’ through the community, music playing and ice cream in hand! 🍦🎶

From smiling residents picking their favorite treats to our four-legged friends joining in on the fun, this event was a sweet success.

And the star of the show? Our favorite dancing pup, Papa, who proved that ice cream really does make you want to get up and boogie! 🐶 🕺🏼

On August 21st from 3-5 PM, keep your eyes peeled and your ears open! We’ll be cruisin’ around the community on our golf carts, playing music and delivering sweet treats straight to you! 🍦🎶

Don't stop believin'... the best pool party of the summer is here! 🎶 We turned back the clock with throwback tunes, neon vibes, poolside fun, tasty bites, and totally rad residents. Thanks to everyone who rocked their 80s style and made today one for the mixtapes.
A big congratulations to all of our raffle winners—we hope you enjoy your prizes! And thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event such a blast.

Before we could officially open our newly renovated sand volleyball court, our team insisted on conducting a very thorough “inspection”. 🏐 We can confidently report that the sand is soft, the net is sturdy, and the spikes are (mostly) on target. We’d say it’s resident-ready!
