The Board has set the date for the Glen Oaks Village Annual Shareholders Meeting. All owners will be receiving their Annual Meeting package shortly. The meeting will be a Zoom meeting so it will be easy to attend. The date is Tuesday, June 30th at 6:30PM. Registering and getting the meeting link is easy. Go to Glenoaksvillage.com. That is our website and on the cover page there will be the registration form and link. You can do this now or at anytime prior to the meeting. We suggest you register now.
All are invited, Owners, Residents and others are welcome to watch the presentation. We will be discussing the Challenges of Keeping Co-ops Affordable in NY. We will discuss Local Law 97 and other unfunded mandates by the City and State imposed on co-ops and condos. We will discuss monthly maintenance, special assessments, audited financial statements of the co-op and lots more.
Last year we heard from some of our seniors who have a hard time doing a zoom meeting. We listened to them and will use the community room for anyone wishing to watch the zoom meeting. We will have a TV set up there and also have board and staff members present. All this information will be in the Annual Meeting package that you will receive shortly. This is an opportunity to be informed on all issues affecting Glen Oaks Village and other co-ops. There will be a Q&A at the end. The presentation should last approx 1 hour.
