šŸ¾ BIG LONG ANNOUNCEMENT TIME! šŸ¾

We have made it through another summer and we are on the cusp of Back to School/Hockey Season! For those of you that are new here, Iā€™m not just a scatter brained business owner/groomer but also a mom to 3 awesome kids that play travel hockey. Tomorrow starts the āœØcascading chaosāœØ that is our life August to April.

When you choose to become part of The Grateful Dog family and share your dog with all of us, you are part of the reason why these kids get to have the opportunities to have their mom present and give them the ability chase their dreams daily. We are all so grateful and lucky that you choose our small business every day.

With the start of the new school year my hours of operation need to change. This part is going to be just as hard for me as it is for you as it requires me to have strict boundaries and less flexibility- the latter being something I have always tried to be for all of you. I appreciate your patience and consideration while we all navigate these changes.

The NEW hours will be 7:30-2:30 Tuesday thru Fridays will still be the consistent days. Mondays and Saturdays will continue be by appointment only. Due to these changes I can not accept new clients at this time. If you are an established client with a new puppy- we will work together to figure it out.

We will be OPEN Tomorrow!! Canā€™t wait to be back to normal. I appreciate everyoneā€™s patience and understanding with the delay of rescheduling- managing 3 kids with cabin fever and a hockey tournament hangover has been a challenge.

One more snow day for us at The Grateful Dog. As soon as I reschedule everyone from today I will be working on tomorrow. Stay safe everyone and send positive vibes as I survive day 13 with the kids home! Canā€™t wait to get back to normal!

Happy Snow Day everyone! We will be closed again tomorrow due to the severity of this storm and the clean up that goes with it. Hoping mother nature cooperates and we can be back to normal Wednesday!

Due to the recent tragedy at Lynch arena I am getting off Facebook for a while. While none of my children were there I had a lot of family, both blood and Bronco, there and on that ice. It just is hitting a little too hard to see over and over. We are closed from 2/18-2/24 for our trip up to Lake Placid. If you need anything please text or call (401)365-7772 but please know I will be enjoying this time with my family and all calls and texts will be returned after I am home. Hug your loved ones a little harder.

Today we finally managed to get our act together and open the new shop. The relocation over the weekend was a blast, aside from a few minor hiccups that we're still trying to iron out. Honestlyā€¦ I am a soup sandwich which if you have been with me a while this is par for the course! I'm super excited to share this fancy new space with you all and appreciate your kindness and patience as we work out the kinks.

Weā€™ve been quiet for a while over here on The Grateful Dog pageā€¦ for some of the best reasons. We are moving! Yes you read that right. Yes we are moving AGAIN. We will be opening in our new location in a few short weeks and we can not wait to share this space with all of you. Our new space will be our forever home! Text messages will be sent out individually to remind people where we are.

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season with family and friends! Cheers to our next greatest adventure!
