🏆 We are beyond excited to share that CAI-GLAC has been selected to receive not ONE, but TWO awards at this year's CAI National Conference: the Membership Engagement Award AND the Public Affairs Excellence Award!

None of this would have been possible without our incredible Community Outreach Committee. 💙

🧸 For Membership Engagement, they poured their hearts into the Spark of Love Toy Drive, partnering with the Los Angeles Fire Department and CAI-CI to collect toys for children in need across our region. Their dedication, creativity, and generosity brought our entire chapter together in the spirit of giving.

🔥 For Public Affairs, when the January 2025 wildfires devastated communities across Los Angeles, our committee didn't wait. Within 24 hours, they launched a comprehensive response: resources, donation drives, vetted service provider lists, and direct financial assistance to members who lost their homes. Seven members received direct support, free webinars were opened to the entire community, and six months later, the "Christmas in July" fundraiser at Barker Block brought together 100+ attendees and raised over $15,000 for fire victims. Their commitment lasted 10 months and counting because that is what community looks like.

Thank you to our Co-Chairs, our Board, our volunteers, and every single member who showed up. We can't wait to celebrate at the National Conference! 🙌

🎬⛳ Get ready for a day on the greens! The CAI-GLAC Golf Tournament is coming up on Monday, June 15 at Porter Valley Country Club in Porter Ranch!

This year's theme is "Lights, Camera, Connection: A Cinematic Road Trip" and it is going to be an incredible day filled with golf, networking, awards, and prizes. This event is one of our chapter's favorites AND one of our most important fundraisers, so we hope you will come out and join us!

Here is the day at a glance:
