As any good business owner must do, I make a regular effort to evaluate what I’m doing in my business.....what am I doing that works? What could I improve on? And, probably more importantly, what are my competitors doing? So, this week I decided to focus on the new kids on the block.....Opendoor, Offerpad, and Knock. I won’t bore you with all of the ugly details but it certainly supported the old adage, “If it sounds too good to be true.....”.
I found tons of reviews of disgruntled clients as well as former employees who would no longer be a part of their unethical and sometimes illegal practices. Not to mention the fact they they do NOT, in fact, buy your home for full market value. This article was especially interesting and enlightening as to how they actually operate.
Although these companies are good for certain markets, they lack much-needed human interaction and customer service
